This website is operated by Solanex BV, Waterstraat 2, 2360 Oud-Turnhout, Belgium, VAT BE0543.454.772, e-mail info@huisdierpenning.be. Solanex BV is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. We take your privacy seriously and process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data do we collect?

When you place an order, we collect:

• Your name, e-mail address, (billing and) delivery address and, where applicable, your company name and VAT number;
• The personalisation you choose for your tag: name, text, colour, model, and the preview images generated from these;
• Payment data processed by our payment partner Mollie (we never see or store card or account numbers ourselves);
• If you sign up for our newsletter: your e-mail address, only with your explicit consent.

We don't keep an account or browsing profile and don't use tracking cookies (see “Cookies” below).

Why do we use this data?

• To process your order, make and ship your tag, and contact you about it (performance of the contract);
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations;
• To send you our newsletter, only with your consent.

Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your data to third parties. We do work with a small number of carefully chosen processors, who only use your data to help us provide the service:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, e-mail delivery (order confirmations);
• Mollie — processing your payment;
• Brevo — sending our newsletter, only for people who signed up.

How long do we keep your data?

Order data is kept for 7 years, as required by accounting law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. For any other deletion request, we act on it to the extent our legal obligations allow.

Cookies

This website does not use any tracking or advertising cookies, so no cookie banner is needed. We only use functional storage:

• Your shopping cart is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) — it never leaves your device;
• If you're logged into your account, a functional session cookie keeps you logged in.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected, have it deleted, restrict its processing, have it transferred, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these rights, e-mail info@huisdierpenning.be. We respond within a month.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be).

We may update this privacy policy; the date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
